As one of the UK’s leading manufacturers in water-based wood finishes, Intercoat Paints have added real value to the range of products and solutions that Esprit provides to their high-end client base.
Esprit were previously using 3 solvent based primers (A/C, PU and Pre-cat) across its products until Intercoat Paints introduced our unrivalled water based UNIVERSAL primer (45051).
As a result of converting to the Intercoat water based universal primer, the complexities of having several different primers were removed.
Converting to a water-based universal primer resulted in achieving a superior product finish which provided the following results:
- Reducing Esprit’s VOC levels
- Improving the working environment for its staff
- Increased productivity
- Reduced costs
- Elimination of the use of hardeners and thinners (in the mixing of paint)
- Enabling Esprit to present a strong corporate environmental image and brand to its international and corporate customers
