Recycling And Disposal

RECYLCING AND DISPOSAL

Our Transfer Station is licensed to receive, treat and co-ordinate the onward disposal of several different waste streams and fall into 3 main categories:

Hazardous Waste

In many cases hazardous paint waste can be recycled to remove valuable solvent constituents. These are then treated and provide a highly efficient spray gun cleaner.

Non-hazardous waste

Non-hazardous waste is treated as a polluted aqueous stream.

Used Packaging waste

Containers which have held hazardous materials are often classified as Hazardous Waste and need to be treated as such. Intercoat can collect used completely empty containers as part of their order delivery service. These are returned to site and processed as permitted under our license.

Legislation

Intercoat provides documentation, compiled by our WAMITAB certified staff, which aims to make understanding the legislation easier. It is directly applicable to users of hazardous materials such as paints, inks, adhesives and solvents.
